Klan Technologies Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Korrect", "Korrect's Products" or "we" or "us" or "our") which owns Korrect (hereinafter referred to as "Product" or "Korrect") have updated our Privacy Policy ("Policy").

This Privacy Policy details our commitment to protecting the private information of the individuals who visit our Websites (getkorrect.com) (hereinafter referred to as "Website Visitors"), who are authorised to use our Services through a Subscriber's Account (hereinafter referred to as "Users"). For the purpose of this Policy, the term, "Websites", shall refer to the websites that run under the top level domain ("TLD"), getkorrect.com.

The term "Subscriber" shall refer to an individual or an entity that has agreed to a Service Agreement for use of our Services, including an individual representing the Subscribing company. The term "Account" refers to the account an individual or an organisation has created on Korrect or instances created by or on behalf of Subscriber within the Service.

2. Scope of this Policy

In this Policy, personal information refers to the information relating to an identified or identifiable person of nature. An identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in reference to an identification number, or to one or more factors specific to the person's physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.

Personal information does not include "Usage Data" which we define as anonymised information or aggregated data we collect about a group or category of services, feature or users which does not contain personally identifying information. This Usage Data is not shared with partners or service providers in the view of our values and strict adherence to the Privacy of our Users. The Usage Data helps us understand trends of the services or features we need to focus on, to make the product better for the Users and to tailor the Services to their use-case accordingly. We do not share Usage Data with third-party services in a way that would enable them to identify you personally, without your consent if at all required.

When you purchase a subscription to Korrect additional terms relating to the data rights can be found in Terms of Service, available at https://getkorrect.com/terms, or such other applicable agreement between you and any member of the Product relating to your access to and use of such Services ("Service Agreement").

We may process certain personal data to improve our Services and to offer personalised support for our customers. Subscribers to our Services act as data controllers and are solely responsible for establishing policies for and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as any and all privacy policies, agreements or other obligations, relating to the collection of personal information in connection with the use of our Services by individuals with whom our Subscribers interact. If you are an individual who interact with a Subscriber using our Services, then you will be directed to contact our Subscriber for assistance with any requests or questions relating to your personal information processes in connection with such interaction.

We may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our Services to Subscribers. Our processing of personal data under the direction of our Subscribers and transfers to subsequent third parties for these purposes are governed by the Service Agreements with our Subscribers, including the data processing agreement.

3. Information that you provide to us

Submissions by the Website Visitor:

In some of our Websites, we ask for and collect personal information like name and email address when you submit some forms on the Website or when you participate in some customer support enquiries, or when communicating with us.

Account and Registration Information:

If you are a Subscriber or a User, we ask for and collect personal information about you and your Users such as name, address, phone number, email address, instant messaging ID, and credit card information of the Subscriber, as well as some information related to the Subscriber's company name, website url, and email address. If you sign-up for a free trail Account with Korrect, you are not required to enter the credit card information unless and until you decide to purchase a paid subscription to our Services after the trial period ends. We refer to any information described above as "Account Information" for the purposes of this Policy. By voluntarily providing us with the Account Information, you represent that you are the owner of such personal data or are otherwise authorized to provide it to us, specifically, if you as a Subscriber provide us Account Information related to the User, you represent that the User has not objected to such processing.

4. Information we collect

Logs:

As is true with most websites and services delivered over the Internet, we gather certain information in the log files when a User interacts with our Websites and Services. This information includes internet protocol (IP), addresses, browser type, internet service provider, URLs visited, operating system, date/time stamp, locale and language preferences. All the log files are stored no longer than 7 days.

Analytics:

We collect analytics information when you use the Websites to help us improve them. We may share anonymous data about your actions on our Websites with third-party service providers of analytics services.

Cookies and other tracking technologies:

We automatically collect information using “cookies”. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive by a website. We may display the following information to logged-in users according to their access level: first name and last name of all team members, analytics showing user usage of software, end user names, emails and sales data, user feedback and exceptions. We are not responsible for securing data or information by logged-in users. In no event shall Korrect, its subsidiaries, affiliates or any of their respective directors, officers, employees or agents, be liable to products/applications users for revealing information by the logged-in users after obtaining such information by them from the Company.

7. Data Transfer

Korrect processes Account Information and Personal Information in EU for Subscribers from EU, and in the US for the Subscribers in the US. In certain cases of cloud reliability, the data maybe moved between regions, but we will try our best to move the servers within EU for the Subscribers in the EU, and in the US for the Subscribers in the US.

All the regions where we process or hold data, Korrect ensures that adequate protection methods are being maintained and all platform infrastructure where processing takes place adheres to the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles agreed upon by the U.S, the European Union and Switzerland.

8. Accessing your information that is stored on Korrect

Upon request, we will provide you with information about whether we hold and otherwise process, any of your personal information. To request this information please contact us at [email protected]. Subscribers to our Services may update or change their Account Information by editing their profile information under settings, or we can help you do that once you place a request at [email protected].

Requests to access, change, or remote your information will be handled within fifteen (15) days. An individual who seeks access to amend, or delete inaccuracies in personal information stored or processed by us on behalf of a Subscriber should direct their query to the Subscriber. Upon the receipt of this request from one of our Subscribers for us to remote the data, we will reopens to their request within thirty (30) days. We may retain personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you are a Subscriber or otherwise provide us with personal information in connection with your use of our Website or Product or Services, we will delete this information upon your request. If you hold a valid account with Korrect, we may remain the information as long as you explicitly want to delete your account details.

If you are in the EU, you may ask us to export such personal information in a machine-readable format and you have the right to transmit those data to another controller. The request should be placed to the email at [email protected].

9. Children's Information

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 16. If you are under the age of 16, please do not use or submit any personal information through our Websites or Services. If you have a reason to believe that a child under the age of 16 has provided their personal information to us through the Website or Services, please contact us at [email protected], and we will put in our efforts to terminate and delete that information from all of our servers.

You may opt-out from receiving promotional emails or surveys from Korrect anytime with the Unsubscribe link that you may find at the bottom of the promotional email.
